Raidió Rí-Rá

Raidió Rí-Rá is a chart-music station that broadcasts in Irish. Launched online in 2008 under the name Raidió X , the station focuses on young people, hoping to normalise the Irish language for them and make Irish a normal part of everyday life.

It is a Conradh na Gaeilge initiative with technical help from Digital Audio Productions.

The station has broadcast on FM on a number of temporary licences but their ultimate aim is to broadcast nationwide on FM.
The first appearance on FM was from 1st – 22nd March 2009 on 100.3MHz in Dublin; 106.7MHz  in Cork; 99.1MHz in Galway; 105.5MHz in Limerick.

They were also on FM for ten days for their 10th birthday celebrations from 3rd March. Frequencies were Dublin 105.2MHz; Galway 87.7MHz; Cork 106.7MHz & Limerick 105.5MHz.

Is cairt-staisiún ceoil é Raidió Rí-Rá a bhíonn ag craoladh go hiomlán trí Ghaeilge! Bíonn an ceol ar fad ó na cairteacha le cloisteáil ar an stáisiún, maraon leis an bpopnuacht, an nuacht spóirt agus an nuacht scannánaíochta is déanaí!

Tá Raidió Rí-Rá le cloisteáil 24/7 anseo ar líne, ar an raidió DAB nó is féidir aip Raidió Rí-Rá a íoslódáil saor in aisce!

Tá sceideal lán le ceol, spraoi agus greann againn gach lá ar Raidió Rí-Rá agus bíonn an clár Top40 Oifigiúil na hÉireann le Daithí Ó Dáibhín le cloisteáil freisin!
