The Irish Mix
[/note]

Alan Hunter’s The Irish Mix played non-stop Irish music to Dublin on 90.3MHz, previously on 106.7MHz which was the only frequency ever announced – even a year following the move! Audio quality was diabolical and consisted entirely of oft-repeated recorded material, which, up until the last couple of months of life, was only ever presented by Hunter himself. Heartbeat programming was introduced shortly before…

The station was raided by The ODTR on December 7th 2000 and were charged in a court case.

For Dublin FM listeners, it was less a case of a station lost and more of some white noise gained – it was that bad.

Station’s phone nr was 01 8743439

There was no RDS display
